Varsity Men take 1st place in the 2020 fall erg challenge

On November 14th, rowers from around the country completed a 5000 meter erg piece and submitted their scores. Eight of our rowers participated, making up two boats in the Men’s Varsity Four event.

UCSB’s top four ergs won the event by more than 10 seconds! Our second four also did exceptionally well; They finished ahead of twelve other teams, putting them in 5th place.

We are looking forward to racing these teams on the water again, and seeing what we can accomplish.
